FlappCast Episode #179: Songs In The Key of Kristin with Kristin Key

headshotwithguitar

Barbara Holliday (Co-Owner & Booker) and Joshua Snyder (Comedian and Sales & Marketing Director) rock out with musical comedian Kristin Key (Last Comic Standing), sampling tunes from her forthcoming album; songs about people finding true love in Lizard stores and fairy tale princesses who were probably drunk.

Kristin Key shares her thought provoking and hilarious stories about growing up gay and being a preacher’s daughter through Stand-Up and Musical comedy. It wasn’t always easy for her to discuss her sexual orientation publicly. Discrimination and isolation lead her to keep her true identity a secret, until recently. She originally sought out stand-up comedy as a form of therapy but after figuring out that she had a knack for making people laugh, she decided to make it a career. She is most recognized for her appearance on Last Comic Standing, additional credits include: Comics Unleashed, VH- 1′s 100 Greatest Series, The Bob and Tom show and is often played on Sirius and XM Satellite Radio. @TheKristinKey
