FlappCast Episode #68 – Tall, Dark, and Funny… Londale Theus Jr

LondaleTheusJrHeadshotLondale Theus Jr, along with Barbara Holliday and Joshua Snyder, discusses his love of doing impressions as he does them, how his last name means “god” in Greek, his early comedic influences, and he recalls his first time ever at an open mic. During Punch It Up, Kevin Yee performs a 3 minute song and dance number and gets critiques.

Londale Theus Jr. is an actor, comedian, improviser, and writer hailing from Los Angeles. After a knee injury ended his days of Division 1 College Basketball, his interest in comedy and performing led him to CSU Long Beach’s Theatre Program. Upon finishing his two years in the program, he started working as a full time actor in TV (Chelsea Lately), Film, and National Commercials (State Farm, Mini Cooper). He does stand up all over LA, has won comedy competitions at Flappers, and also trains at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade as an improviser as well as performs all over town with his improv group Low Income Kids.

FlappCast Episode #67 – O Canada, O Sean Tweedley

SeanTweedleySean Tweedley, along with Barbara Holliday and Joshua Snyder, discusses having duel citizenship with Canada and America, starting out doing improv at the Toronto Second City, performing with friend Harland Williams as the Apple Tree Boys, the Canadian “accent”, and both fun and risque tales from Little League. During Punch It Up, David Snow performs a 3 minute set and gets critiques.

Award winning Actor/Comedian, Sean Tweedley, was head writer/producer for Canada’s top rated, longest running, “Late Night Talk Show” on CTV.

He also enjoyed a successful 2 year run as host of the highly rated ‘cult hit’ “Warm Up Show” on CTV/Comedy Network. In 2007, Tweedley landed a job as head writer of “Alf’s Big Late Night Talk Show” for TV Land/MTV. Shortly after that he was recruited by the Funny or die offshoot “” to write and star in web series internet videos with Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall.  In 2009, Tweedley returned to TV as host of ”The Limo Show”, a comedy/talk show that takes place inside a stretch limo, complete with guests and a four piece band.

Sean Tweedley is one of North America’s top headlining Standup Comedians.

    * Worked as an airplane mechanic for nine years before becoming a stand-up comic.

    * Got his break opening for In Living Color’s Tommy Davidson.

    * Has performed all over the world as an entertainer with the USO comedy tour.

    * Won Season 3 of Last Comic Standing and was the runner-up the previous season. In 2007, he appeared on the NBC reality competition as a talent scout/judge, alongside fellow LCS alums ANT and Kathleen Madigan.
